Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to commonly asked questions about our video production services.
How do I get started with a video project?
The first step is simple: request a free, competitive quote. Tell us about your goals, audience, and rough budget, and we’ll put together a tailored proposal and walk you through the next steps.
What does your video production process look like?
Every project moves through three core stages: pre-production (concept, scripting, and planning), production (the shoot), and post-production (editing, sound, motion graphics, and delivery). For a full walkthrough of each stage, see our Ultimate Guide to the Corporate Video Production Process.
What types of videos do you produce?
We produce the full range of corporate video — promotional and brand films, product demos, explainers, testimonials, recruitment, event, and trade show videos, and more. Our guide to the 9 types of corporate videos breaks down each one, or you can explore our video production services directly.
Do you help with concept development and scriptwriting?
Yes. We’re a full-service production company, so we can take your project from a blank page — handling concept, creative direction, and scriptwriting — or work from materials you already have. Whatever stage you’re starting from, we’ll guide it to a finished film.
What industries do you work with?
We work across a wide range of sectors, with dedicated experience in finance and fintech, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and education and e-learning.
How much does a corporate video cost?
It depends on the type of video, length, crew size, locations, and post-production needs like animation or motion graphics. As a general guide, professional corporate videos start in the low thousands and scale up with complexity. For a detailed breakdown, see our guide on how much a video costs in Toronto, or request a custom quote.
What’s included in a typical project?
A typical project includes pre-production planning, a professional crew and equipment for the shoot, full editing and post-production, and final delivery — along with revisions to get it right. We’ll outline exactly what’s included in your written proposal so there are no surprises.
How long does it take to produce a video?
Most video projects take around four weeks from concept to final delivery, though this varies with scope, the number of shoot days, and how many videos you need. Larger or more complex projects take longer; we’ll give you a clear timeline in your proposal.
Do you offer rush or expedited turnaround?
In many cases, yes — turnaround can often be accelerated depending on the project and our schedule. If you’re working toward a hard deadline, let us know early and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.
What are your payment terms?
Projects are typically structured with a deposit to begin and the balance due on completion. We’ll lay out the specific terms in your proposal before any work starts.
Do you provide the full crew and equipment?
Yes. We handle everything required for a professional shoot — camera, lighting, audio, and an experienced crew — so you don’t need to source anything yourself. We also offer add-ons like teleprompter services when a shoot calls for it.
Do you work with clients outside of Toronto?
We’re based in Toronto and regularly work throughout the Greater Toronto Area. For projects beyond the GTA, travel can usually be arranged — just let us know where you’re located and we’ll sort out the logistics.
Can you film across multiple locations or over several days?
Absolutely. We regularly handle multi-location and multi-day shoots, and we’ll build the schedule and logistics into your production plan.
Do you provide on-screen talent or actors?
We can. Depending on your project, we’ll either feature your own team members and customers or help source professional talent. We’ll recommend the best approach for your goals during pre-production.
Do you also offer drone footage, photography, or animation?
Yes. Alongside video, we offer drone video production and photography, as well as animation and motion graphics — all of which can be built into a single project.
Who owns the final video and the footage?
You receive full usage rights to your final, delivered video to use however you like. Policies on raw and unused footage can vary by project, so we’ll make ownership and licensing clear in your agreement up front.
How many rounds of revisions are included?
We offer 2 rounds of revisions included in our quote. Additional rounds will cost extra.
What formats will I receive, and can I get versions for different platforms?
We deliver your video in the formats you need, and we can prepare platform-specific versions — a 16:9 master for YouTube, vertical 9:16 cuts for Reels and TikTok, captioned edits for LinkedIn, and more. Not sure how to publish them? Our guide on how to post your video on YouTube and social media walks you through it.
Do you handle music licensing?
Yes. We source properly licensed music for your video, so you’re covered to use it across your channels without copyright issues.
How do I publish my video once it’s delivered?
Publishing it correctly makes a real difference to how it performs. We’ve put together a complete guide on how to post your video on YouTube and social media the right way, covering specs, captions, and platform best practices.
