What We Produce

Event Video Production, Four Ways

Four ways Toronto companies turn a live event into assets that outlive it. Most projects combine two or three.

Full event and keynote coverage

Multi-camera filming of conferences, expos, and corporate gatherings. Keynotes, breakout sessions, and audience moments, captured cleanly for marketing, archives, and internal communications.

Highlight reels and social cuts

The best two minutes of your event, cut to travel. Delivered in horizontal and vertical versions so LinkedIn and Instagram each get the right frame while the momentum is still high.

On-site interviews and testimonials

Speakers, attendees, and partners, captured while the energy is real. The clips double as testimonial videos that feed your marketing long after the event wraps.

B-roll and venue atmosphere

Branding, setup, networking, and the scale of the room. The connective tissue that makes the final edit feel the way the event did.

Filming on a trade show floor? That has its own playbook: trade show video production. Want aerials over a large gathering? Our drone services cover conferences and outdoor events.

Our Process

How Your Event Video Gets Made

Five steps, two founders watching every one of them. You always know what happens next.

Discovery and run-of-show

We start with your agenda, your venue, and what the video needs to do after the event, then plan coverage around the moments that matter most.

Site and technical planning

We scout the venue or study its specs, coordinate with your AV team, and plan cameras, audio, and lighting so nothing gets missed on the day.

Event day filming

Our crew arrives early, stays out of the way, and captures keynotes, sessions, interviews, and atmosphere, scaling from a single camera to a full multi-camera setup.

Edit and review

We cut the highlight reel and any session recordings, grade the footage, mix the audio, and take you through two structured rounds of revisions on Frame.io.

Delivery

Final files in every length and aspect ratio your platforms need. Need it fast? Same-day teasers and next-day highlight delivery are available as add-ons.

Want the long version? Read our full guide to the corporate video production process. Need stills too? Corporate event photography runs on the same crew and the same schedule.

Why Lapse

Why Toronto Companies Choose Lapse Productions

An event happens once. There is no reshoot if the keynote goes uncaptured or the audio fails, so event work rewards a crew that prepares properly and adapts fast. That is how we run: planned coverage, redundant recording, and calm problem-solving while the show keeps moving.

We are chameleons: any event format, any venue, any scale. We film regularly for education and e-learning, healthcare, and manufacturing clients, and event coverage is one part of our full video production services in Toronto.

Founder-led delivery

Dario and Kyrill, the co-founders, run every project personally, from the first call through final delivery. No account managers, no handoffs. Meet the team.

One take is all you get

Redundant audio, backup recordings, and operators who have covered hundreds of live moments. When something unexpected happens, and at live events it does, we adapt without missing the shot.

Fast enough to ride the momentum

Same-day teaser edits and next-day highlight delivery keep your event in the feed while people are still talking about it, not three weeks later.

One crew for video, photo, and drone

Event video, corporate photography, and licensed drone coverage run on one team and one schedule, so you book once and cover everything.

Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions we get asked most about event video, answered straight.

How much does event video production cost in Toronto?

Most event video projects at Lapse Productions land between $3,410 and $8,000. A single videographer covering a half-day gathering sits at the low end, while multi-day, multi-camera conference coverage sits higher. There are no fixed packages: you set the scope and we quote our itemized rates against it. Our video production pricing page shows the full rate card, and our guide to what a video costs explains what moves the number.

How far in advance should I book event videography?

Two to four weeks is comfortable for most events, and more lead time helps for multi-day conferences or dates in the busy spring and fall seasons. Booking early lets us scout the venue, coordinate with your AV team, and hold the right crew. Already have a date? Reach out and we will confirm availability.

Can you deliver a video the same day as the event?

Yes. Same-day teaser edits and next-day highlight delivery are available as add-ons. An editor works on site or overnight so you can post while your event is still trending. Let us know in advance so we plan the extra capacity, and see the pricing page for the add-on rates.

How many videographers does my event need?

It depends on the format. A single operator handles small gatherings and straightforward talks. A keynote with audience reactions usually wants two cameras, and multi-track conferences need a camera per room plus a floater for atmosphere. We recommend the smallest crew that will not miss anything, and we will tell you honestly when one operator is enough.

Can you film interviews and testimonials at my event?

Yes, and we recommend it. Your speakers, customers, and partners are all in one place with their enthusiasm high, which makes an event the most efficient moment to capture testimonial footage. We set up a quiet corner with proper lighting and audio, and the clips feed your marketing long after the event. See our testimonial video production page for that format.

Do you offer live streaming and hybrid event coverage?

Yes. We stream keynotes and full programs to YouTube, LinkedIn, or the platform of your choice, and a hybrid setup lets the live stream and the recorded edit share the same cameras. Tell us your platform and your audience size and we will spec the right setup for the room.
