Disrupting the Video Production World

No matter what industry you are in when starting a business, you ask yourself these questions: How do I stand out?

What makes my business different from the competition? How could I potentially change the industry if possible? How can I adapt my business to a changing market?

Ian discussed with us how he started his business by analyzing the video production world and how it was changing. Due to his and his business partner’s insights, they were able to create a scalable production company that has allowed them to expand from Toronto across Canada.

They created a large database of freelancers, production companies, and various talent that they can source for any specific client project. This gives them the ability to be nimble and adapt to the needs of anyone that walks through their front door as well as allowing them to solve almost any specific problem in relation to video production.

Key Partnerships

He also shared that key partnerships are necessary to help any business grow. Ian shared how a key partnership with other marketing and advertising companies can really help benchmark a production company and allow for a steady flow of leads and clients to help them operate, move forward, and grow.
